Lucky A. Bly
GREELEY, COLORADO -- Lucky A. Bly, 33, of Greeley, died Tuesday (Aug. 6, 1996) at his home.
Lucky Bly was born March 23, 1963, in Portland, Ore., to Virgil Lee and Devona Ida (Duhlberg) Bly. He moved to Kensett, Iowa, at the age of 12, where he completed his education graduating from St. Ansgar High School, St. Ansgar, Iowa. After graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a flight mechanic. In 1986 he moved to Greeley, where he resided until the time of his death. He was active in Bible study groups.
He is survived by his father, Virgil L. Bly, Kensett, Iowa; his mother, Devona Jones, Portland, Ore.; his stepmother, Carolynn Bly, Kensett, Iowa; two brothers, Carl Baty, Portland, Ore., and Michael Bly, Kensett, Iowa; two sisters, Dede Bly and Vickie Bly, both of Portland, Ore., and four nieces and one nephew.
Lucky Bly was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Baty.
Memorial services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at Adamson Memorial Chapel, Greeley, Colo. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Iowa.
