HALFMANN, Albert J. 1897-1970
Albert J. "Happy" Halfmann, 72, of Route 1, Malone, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born October 7, 1897, at Stacyville, Iowa, a son of Christand and Elizabeth Gerhartz Halfmann. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church at Johnsburg.
Surviving are five brothers, Paul Halfmann of Campbellsport, Huber, George and Michael Halfmann, all of Stacyville, and Joseph Halfmann of Manley, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Christine Simon of Stacyville and Mrs. Julia Kraemer of Campbellsport.
A twin brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Church, Stacyville, Iowa, with burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport. The body will be taken to the Hatten Funeral Home in Stacyville for visitation Friday evening.
