OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral services for an Osage man, who was fatally injured in a fall from the roof of his horne Wednesday evening, are tentatively set for Monday here.
Dead is Svein E. (Sam) Loden, 62, an employe of the Oliver Corp. Authorities said he was taking part of his television antenna off the roof about 5 p.m. when he fell about 25 feet and suffered a broken neck. He was dead on arrival at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Services tentative are set for Monday afternoon at Our Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, LaVerne; two sons, Austin of Clear Lake, and Roger of Norfolk, Virginia, in the U. S. Navy; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Weber, of Plymouth, and Mrs. Richard Flowers, of Osage; a brother, Donald Rantoul, Illinois; and nine sisters: Mrs. Ira Wymore, Oscaloosa; Mrs. Lloyd Milton, Little Cedar; Mrs. Elida Strom, and Mrs. Ingrid Sloan, both of New Sharon; Mrs Ivan Elliott, Tucson, Arizona, Mrs. Glenn Hernon, Mitchell; Mrs. Jack Fritcher, and Mrs. Tom Fritcher, both of Lime Springs, and Mrs. John Secker, Charles City.
