Mrs. Mary Nelson, age 69, wife of Chris Nelson, died at her home in Mona, Mitchell county, Iowa, on Friday, following a stroke which she suffered Thursday.

She was born in Norway and lived in and around Mona since she was a young girl. Her husband is the only close survivor.

Funeral services will be held at Mona on Tuesday with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Mona.
