Beulah Jenkins, 94, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage, Iowa, of natural causes.
Beulah was born in Osage on Oct. 23, 1906, the daughter of Harrison and Nellie (Kirgus) Smally. She graduated from the Osage High School in 1926. On October 23, 1926, she married Clayton Jenkins in Osage. She lived in the Osage area.
She was survived by Daughter Virginia Esse, Austin; sisters, Beryl Mielke, Austin, Bessie Miller, Austin, June Eskew, Sacramento, Calif., Ruby Brockmeier, Sacramento, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Kramer, brother Harvey Smalley; sisters, Burnice Wilder, Bertha Graff, Blanche Cottingham and Dorothy Lamaack; and a grandson.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Champion-Burcheit Funeral Home in Osage with the Rev. Robert Melhorn officiating.
Interment: Osage Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday from 1 to p.m. at the funeral home.
