OSAGE, IOWA -- Services for Walter Hungate, 47, who died Friday, Jan. 22, 1988, at the Osage Hospital after complications from a heart attack, are Monday afternoon at Chapmion Funeral Home, Osage. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Judi of Osage; his mother, Rose Hungate of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Jacquelyn Fox of Osage and Jennifer of Osage; a son, Kirk of Osage; and a grandson.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 25, 1988 at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, for Walter Hungate, 47, of Osage. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Mr. Hungate died Friday, January 22, 1988, at the Mitchell County Mem. Hospital, Osage.

He was born on April 24, 1940 in Ames, Iowa, to Harmon and Rose (Anderson) Hungate. In 1953 he moved to Osage with his parents. He graduated from Osage High School in 1958.

Mr. Hungate was employed by Dunham and Nutt Implement Dealer in Osage. He was them employed by White Farm Equipment in Charles City until 1981. He was engaged in farming since.

Mr. Hungate was an avid sportsman. On Jan. 5, 1963 he married Judith Havig.

Survivors include his wife, Judi of Osage; his mother, Rose Hungate of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Jacquelyn) Fox of Osage and Jennifer at home; a son, Kirk of Osage; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father.
