George Koster, 65, died Wednesday at his home in St. Ansgar.
He is survived by his widow, Ruth; four sons: George Jr. of Oregon City, Oregon, Robert of Nashua, Iowa, Jack of Osage, and Gary of Worthington, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Carl Duenow, St. Ansgar; and a brother, Louis Koster, St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at St. Ansgar.

George Koster, 65, St. Ansgar Resident Dies Last Wednesday.
Funeral services for George Koster, 65, of St. Ansgar, were held Saturday afternoon at the St. Ansgar Methodist Church. The Reverend Lloyd Brockmeyer, church pastor, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Mr. Koster died Wednesday night at his home. He had been in failing health for some time.
George Garret Koster, son of Herman and Jenny Koster, was born June 7, 1897 at Riceville.
On May 11, 1919 he was married to Ruth Jane Poer. He farmed for a time and then moved to St. Ansgar, where he operated a feed mill until his illness 16 years ago. He was baptized and became a member of the Methodist Church in St. Ansgar. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, and sons; George, Jr., of Portland, Oregon; Robert of Nashua; Jack of St. Ansgar; and Gary of Worthington, Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Carl Duenow; one brother, Louis Koster both of St. Ansgar; 14 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
