Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 o'clock for Mrs. Alex Weber, 67, of Osage, who died Monday evening at her home as a result of a heart attack.
Mrs. Weber spent the day at the Marr Knitting Mill where she was a department supervisor. She walked from work to her home and was stricken shortly after her arrival at home. A local doctor was summoned but she was dead of a heart attack before medication could help her.
The Rev. Father Thomas J. Conroy and the Rev. Father Lloyd Reuter, pastors will be in charge of the services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
C. R. Champion and Sons are in charge of arrangements, and burial will be at Sacred Heart cemetery.
Agnes Marie Gilles was born May 9, 1898, in New Haven, the daughter of Mease and Anna Kleckner Gilles, early settlers in the New Haven area. She attended Osage schools during a brief time that the family lived in Osage. The remainder of her education was acquired at St. Mary's academy in New Haven.
Her marriage to Alex Weber of Osage took place September 4, 1917, at St. Peter's Catholic church in New Haven. Most of their married life was spent in Osage aside from a brief period in New Haven.
Mrs. Weber was an employee of Marr Knitting for several years, was retired and returned to her former position in September. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic church and was active in Sacred Heart guild and Third Ward circle. She was also active in affairs of the Democrat party in the county for a number of years.
Surviving are her husband, Alex, one daughter, Cleo, Mrs. Robert Lee, five grandsons, all of Osage and her brother and sisters: Ernie Gilles of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mrs. Matt Fox, Mryt, of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Rose Ginsterblum of Monrovia, Calif.; Mrs. Mary French of Osage, and Mrs. Lorenz Helfter, Bernice of New Haven.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Vince and Guy Gilles.

Mrs. Alex Weber, 67, died on Monday afternoon just after returning from work at Marr Knitting Mill. Funeral services area planned tentatively for Thursday morning at sacred Heart Church in Osage. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.
Agnes Gilles was born to Mr. and Mrs. Mease Gilles near Osage. She was married in 1917 and had lived most of her life here.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Cleo) Lee; five grandchildren, all of Osage; a brother, Ernie Gilles, Los Angeles; four sisters: Mrs. Matt Fox, Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Rose Ginsterblum, Los Angeles, Mrs. Mary French, Osage, and Mrs. Lorenz Helfter, New Haven.
