OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral services are pending for Zack LaMaster, a former chief of police in Osage. He died Sunday after suffering a heart attack Saturday.

Born October 18, 1883, in Scott County, he was married to Barbara Martin in 1903. They came to Osage in 1913. He was on the police for 10 years.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hemrich, Mason City; Mrs. Kenneth Laughlin, Des Moines; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Reynolds, Indianapolis.
