OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home for Elmer Green, 59, Tucson, Arizona. The Reverend John Woodin will officiate. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Green sold their farm near here this year and had moved to Tucson to retire.
Born in Floyd County in 1900, he was married to Rosae Haberkorn in 1924. She died in 1952. In 1955 he was married to Mrs. Harriet Sanders.
Surviving are his wife, his mother, Mrs. Mae Green, Charles City; a daughter, Mrs. Clinton Dean, Rudd; three grandchildren, two step-children, Tom Tice, Alaska; Mrs. Harriett Oliver, Seattle, Washington; a brother, Donald Garden Grove, California; five sisters, Mrs. Billy Larson and Mrs. Edna Ward, Bellflower, California; Mrs. Cora Cross, Charles City; Mrs. Marion Meyers, Bassett and Mrs. Ruby Reed, Marble Rock.
