Mrs. Will Young dies at Osage;
Rites ThursdayOSAGE, IOWA -— Mrs. Will Young, age 71, died at her farm home Monday November 13, 1961.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church here. The Rev. Everett Pencook will of officiate. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.
She was born Luella Knechtges, January 8, 1890. to Henry and Lillian (Fish) Knechtges. She was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. before her marriage To William M. Young, November 23, 1915. They farmed in North Dakota until returning to Osage in 1921. Her husband is the ASC agent in Mitchell County.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Marian) Kuenkel, Little Cedar; Mrs. Orven (Maurine) Stromley, St. Ansgar; four grandchildren; Jim and Sandra Stromley, Cheryl and Colleen Kuenkel; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Evabel) Penney, Osage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Merlin and Wendell, and by a sister, Ethel.
