CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Florence Griga Milbrandt, 85, of Charles City, and formerly of Osage, died on Sunday, May 18, 1997, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital. Private services were held with the Rev. Newland officiating and burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Champion Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of arrangements.
Florence was born on November 21, 1911, in Sac City, Iowa.
Survivors include one son, Gary Griga of Charles City; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Lucille Werner of Osage, Kathleen Hemann of Osage, and Bernice Runde of Riceville; two stepsons, Ralph Milbrandt of Grafton, and Robert Milbrandt of Rochester, Minnesota; 32 step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, one brother, four half sisters and one half brother.
