LITTLE CEDAR, IOWA - Kenneth C. Knapp, 89, of Little Cedar, died Sunday (May 25, 1997) at the Osage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Little Cedar United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating. Burial will be in the Little Cedar Cemetery with Masonic Rites at the grave by the Osage Masonic Lodge 102 A.F. & A.M. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church.

Kenneth C. Knapp was born Sept. 29, 1907, in Osage, Mitchell county, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Vernice of Little Cedar; one daughter, Peggy Jacobson of Osage; one son, Richard Knapp, Cedar Rapids; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his twin brother.
