Hildred Lammers (1915-2008)
RICEVILLE, IOWA -- Hildred Lammers, age 92, of Riceville, died Monday, April 21, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage, Iowa.
She was born on August 5, 1915, to Carl and Anna Jorgensen Oberg in Paxton, Neb. On May 6, 1935, she married John "Frank" Lammers in Fort Morgan, Colo.; he is now deceased.
Mrs. Lammers worked as a supervisor on the line for T.R.W. in Ogallala, Neb., for 30 years. She was a member of Paxton ELCA Lutheran Church.
Survived by: a daughter, Janice (Kenneth) Martin of Riceville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: four brothers, Fremont, Floyd, Wayne and Roy Oberg.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Riceville. Public visitation from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and for an hour before services Friday, both at the funeral home.
