TRUDIE K. LIENHARD
CRESCO — Trudie K. Lienhard, 60, of Cresco, died Sunday (Oct. 17, 2004) at her home after a long illness.
Trudie was born on July 17, 1944, in Mitchell County, Iowa, near Riceville, the daughter of Ben H. and Harriet (Volkart) Stevenson. She graduated from Riceville High School in 1962. She worked as a cook for Howard-Winneshiek Community Schools.
In August 1964, she was united in marriage to Jerald Henderson in Riceville, and they were later divorced.
On Sept. 18, 1978, she was united in marriage to Loel Lienhard in Cresco.
Survivors include her husband, Loel, of Cresco; five children, Jodi Henderson, of Mission, Kan.; Jack Henderson, of Austin, Texas; Billi (Barry) Lienhard Johnson, of Lime Springs Iowa; Amy (Jesse) Lienhard Mauer, of Rochester, Minn.; and Andy Lienhard, of Rochester, Minn.; one sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Wherry, of Riceville; and two brothers, Richard (Sara) Stevenson, of Sheffield; and Ben (Brenda) Stevenson, of McIntire.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Stevenson; and two sisters, Margaret Lockhart and Virginia Stevenson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Conway Funeral Home, 404 N. Elm St. in Cresco. There will be private family services at a later date, with burial in New Oregon Cemetery at Cresco.
