DALTON JACOB SCHAFER
OSAGE, IOWA — Private graveside services for Dalton Jacob Schafer, infant son of Jacob Dean and Theresa Ranae (DeBower) Schafer, of 1932 317th St., Osage, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at South Vilmar Cemetery with Pastor Mark Walker of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church officiating.
Dalton died Thursday (Sept. 23, 2004) at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
He is survived by his loving parents; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret (Korte) DeBower of Bristow; paternal grandparents, Leslie and Dienna (Ebling) Schafer, of Greene; paternal great-grandfather, Darwin (Frances) Ebling; paternal great-grandmother, Ramona Schafer all of Greene; his aunts and uncles, Sarah (Shane) Wicks of Cedar Rapids, Rebecca DeBower of Cedar Falls, Lucas Schafer of Manly, Lydia Schafer of Greene; and two cousins, Samuel and Natalie Wicks.
Dalton joins his maternal grandparents, Leuie and Ruth Korte, and John and Leona DeBower; paternal grandmother, Fonda Ebling; and paternal grandfather, Harold Schafer.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Chapel, 519 N. First St. Greene, (641) 823-4457.
