EMIL J. NEMETH
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Emil J. Nemeth, 92, of St. Ansgar, died on Monday (July 21, 2003) at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ansgar Cathiolic Church, with the Rev. Mark Reasoner officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar, with a 6 p.m. prayer service.
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.
Emil was born on July 31, 1910 in Chicago, Ill., to Karl and Katherin (Jaun) Nemeth. He resided in Mitchell County his entire life.
He married Helga Miller on Feb. 26, 1952, in Mitchell County. Emil worked as a farm hand for many years.
Emil was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Helga, of St. Ansgar; two sons, Carl (Jill) of Pheonix, Ariz., and John of Clarion; one daughter, Cindy (Mike) Plenge of Charfield Minn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
