Arminda Buechele Funeral April 6, 2002
Funeral services for Arminda E. Buechele, 98, of Grafton, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
Arminda was born March 11, 1904 at Belgrade, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Minnie (Lutz) Rappath. She attended school at Belgrade, Eden Valley and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Arminda was united in marriage to Emil Buechele on September 14, 1923 in Minneapolis. The couple moved to Grafton in 1926. She worked in WalkÕs Store for over twenty-five years. Arminda was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton.
Arminda is survived by her daughter, Jane Buechele of Grafton; a sister, Berneice Maker (who made her home with the couple) and her husband Bob of Corvallis, Montana; a brother, Rev. Harry Rappath and wife Evelyn of Prescott, Arizona; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emil in 1985; sisters, Hazel Gerstenkorn, Vera Bork, Elsie Rappath; brother Bill Rappath.
Burial will be in the Grafton Cemetery.
