OSAGE, IOWA — Velma Northup, 84, of Osage, died Friday (Oct. 30, 1998) at the Osage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St., Osage, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Monday until time of services at Champion Funeral Home.

Velma Northup was born September 18, 1914, in Christian County, Ill.

Survivors include one son, Stephen Northup, of Osage; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers.
