PETZNICK, KOSCHMEDER, STROMLEY

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Glen A. Petznick, 55, died Thursday (Oct. 22, 1998) at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at Deer Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Carpenter, Iowa.

Visitation was held on Sunday at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Glen was born on May 26, 1943, to Alvin and Gertrude (Koschmeder) Petznick in Osage, Mitchell county, Iowa. He was baptized on August 29, 1943, and confirmed on March 33, 1959, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1961.

Glen served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He married Dianne Stromley on July 31, 1964, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar.

Glen liked the outdoors and fishing. He thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his wife, Dianne, of St. Ansgar; two sons, Randy Petznick, of St. Ansgar and Brian Petznick of Fountain, Minn.; and two grandchildren, Samantha and James Petznick of St. Ansgar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
