Mr. Beverly Albert Morse
OSAGE — Beverly Albert Morse, 90, of Osage, died Friday (Jan. 30, 1998) at his home in Osage of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Osage, with the Rev. Arthur Hill officiating. Following services, the body will be cremated and inurnment will be in the Osage Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. There will be visitation one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
Beverly was born Dec. 5, 1907, on the family farm east of Osage, the son of Albert and Blanche (Huson) Morse. He attended rural schools and Osage High School.
He married Frances Elliott on Feb. 1, 1941, at Chapin, Iowa. They made their home on the family farm east of Osage where Beverly was a dairy farmer. Beverly enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his wife, Frances of Osage; two daughters, Mary Morse, of Chicago, Ill., and Penney Morse, of Milwaukee, Wis.; one son, Charles Morse, of St. Ansgar; five grandchildren, Amanda Morse, of Toeterville, Daniel Morse, of St. Ansgar, Melissa Morse, of Cedar Rapids, Casey Payne, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Elliott Payne, of Milwaukee, Wis.; one sister, Alice Lage, of Austin, Texas; and one brother, Harleigh Morse and his wife, Erna, of Enumclaw, Wash.; and also nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lois Lefebure.
