Samuel Scott Zimmerman, age 1 year 3 months and 3 days, the son of David E. and Nora (Newswanger) Zimmerman passed away on September 27, 2008 after a farming accident at his home.

Funeral services were held at the South Osage Mennonite Church of Osage, Iowa on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. The ministers for the service were: Elvin Brubaker, Mervin Nolt, Landis Oberholtzer and Amos Martin. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held at the family home on Tuesday, September 30th, and the morning of the service.

ALTA VISTA, IA — Samuel Scott Zimmerman, 1, son of David E. and Nora Newswanger Zimmerman of Alta Vista, died Saturday, Sept. 27, from injuries sustained in a farm accident at his home; services 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at South Osage Mennonite Church, Osage, with burial in the church cemetery; visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and before services Wednesday at the family home; Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, (641) 985-2535.
