Funeral servies for Harvey L. Bartz, 76, of Northwood, who died Thursday, September 5 [1991] at the Lutheran retirement Home in Northwood, were held Monday, Sept. 9 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with Rev. Gregory Bjornstad and Rev. Harry Peterson officiating.

Harvey L. Bartz was born November 10, 1914 in Worth County, the son of Otto Bartz and Amolie Rachut Bartz. He married Malinda A. Bork, June 28, 1932 and six children were born of this marriage.

Harvey farmed in Worth County. He was county supervisor from 1962 to 1974 and maintenance worker in Worth County until 1984. He was involved in several church and civic organizations.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Malinda of Grafton; one son, Richard A. Bartz of Colfax, Wisconsin; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Bonnie) Schultz of Grafton, Mrs Edwin (Betty) Jordan of Osage, Mrs. Russell (Judy) Hickman of Osage; one brother, Erwin of the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar; one sister, Matie Borchardt of Osage; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter, Karen, four brothers and two sisters.
