Anna Louise (Heinzerling) Adams, age 77, of Stacyville, Mitchell County, Iowa, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. Burial was in the Visitation Cemetery in Stacyville.
Anna was born on January 1, 1931 at Rockford, Iowa, the daughter of Herman H. and Minnie Rose (Paulus) Heinzerling. She attended several rural grade schools, Rockford High School, and graduated from Visitation High School in Stacyville with the class of 1949.
She was united in marriage to Keith C. Adams on June 28, 1950 at Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville. They had six children: Thomas, Timothy, Daniel, Robert, Deborah, and Adrian.
Anna worked for several years at the Home Cafe in Stacyville. She was a member of Christian Mothers and Southeast Town Circle of Visitation Church, Stacyville City Council, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Anna was preceded in death her parents; by her brother Elmer Heinzerling; by her sister Helen Firsching, and her husband Keith C. Adams on October 19, 1986.
She is survived by five sons: Thomas Adams of Winthrop, Iowa; Timothy (Sheryl) Adams of Stacyville, Iowa; Daniel (Ginny) Adams of Linden, North Carolina; Robert (Carla) Adams of Osage, Iowa; and Adrian (Wanda) Adams of Stacyville, Iowa; by one daughter, Deborah (Daniel) Gabrielson of Rochester, Minnesota; by eight grandchildren, and by two step grandchildren, by three great-grandchildren; by two sisters, Betty Vaage and Barbara Jean Heinzerling both of Mason.
The Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of the arrangements, (641) 732-3706.
