Mrs. Lucretia Counsell
Passed Away on Tuesday
Morning

One of the best known ladies of this community, Mrs. Lucretia Counsell, passed away at the home of Earnest Counsell Tuesday morning, after a brief illness. She was 82 years of age, and had been in feeble health for some time.

Mrs. Counsell owned a place near the Sam Bennett place here in town and lived there until recently. She and her husband were among Mitchell county's first settlers, and she leaves a large circle of neighbors and friends who will miss her.

Funeral services were held this morning from the Earnest Counsell home, and she was buried at Brownville beside relatives.
