Roe G. Rex, age 66, of Stacyville, Iowa, died on Friday August 24, 2007, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, Iowa, with Rev. Dr. Byron Northwick officiating. Burial was in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery.
Roe Garry Rex was born July 31, 1941, to Loretta (Stephens) and Earl Rex in Leon, Iowa. He attended school in Leon. He then farmed with his parents in Leon, until moving to Des Moines. He was united in marriage to Julia Beyer on June 14, 1980 in Des Moines. They moved to St. Ansgar in 1984, and most recently residing in Stacyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by one brother Rob, and by an infant sibling.
Roe is survived by his wife Julia, by his son Kevin, by his daughter Kelly, by a stepdaughter Angela Dieterich, by a twin brother Reed, and by sisters Lottie (Don) Hammond, and Cecilee Lewis.
