Funeral services for Kyle H. Wyatt, 41, of Osage, Iowa, were held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage, with Rev. Dennis Hanson and Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Cremation followed the funeral service with Inurnment in the Osage Cemetery.

Kyle died on Friday, August 24, 2007, of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident near New Haven.

Kyle was born March 30, 1966 at Riceville, the son of Melvin "Pete" Wyatt and Nancy (McCarthy) Johnson. He graduated from Riceville High School in 1984 and NEITI in Calmar. Kyle married Colette Moe on August 10, 1991 in Forest City, Iowa. They lived in Osage, where Kyle was employed at Leading Edge Ford.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Bryanna Wyatt; by his maternal grandfather, Thomas McCarthy; by his paternal grandfather, Howard Wyatt; and by a nephew, Jimmy Shane.

Kyle is survived by his wife, Colette of Osage, by three sons, Jamie of Des Moines, Iowa, Jeremiah and Erik, both of Osage; by a granddaughter Ahna Wyatt, Osage; by his mother, Nancy (Keith) Johnson, Osage; by his father, Melvin "Pete" Wyatt, Riceville; by his maternal grandmother, Lillian McCarthy, Osage; by his paternal grandmother, Marcella Wyatt, Riceville; and by three sisters: Leesa Shane of Riceville, Lori (Neil) Riley of St. Ansgar, Iowa, and Beth Wyatt of Osage.

Arrangements were by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage (641)732-3706.
