DEATH OF MISS JULIA JENISON
Death has again entered the home circle of Mr. S. Jennison. The afflictions that have befallen this estimable family are sad indeed. It is but one short month since the clods of the valley closed over the remains of the wife and mother, and now a daughter is laid by her side.
Together they rest in the wakeless sleep of death. Friday night the 22nd, at 9:45 o'clock, the spirit of Miss Julia Abbie Jennison winged its flight to the Great Beyond. In an adjoining room in that stricken household another life was battling for existence, another sister Miss Mabel, sick unto death, too weak and exhausted to relalize or know that the life of her sister Julia was ebbing away.
Miss Julia was born May 30 1869, on a farm two miles east of McIntire, moving with her parents to Osage, March 10, 1893.
Here she atended the public school until failing health admonished her she must give up those duties that called for close application and studious methods. She was a true and faithful member of the Congreational church, an earnest Christian, possessed of those traits of character that makes a queenly woman. She was a member of the P.E.O. and Harmony Clubs.
During her sickness of seven weeks with typhoid fever she was patient and uncomplaining. The funeral was held at the home owning to the sad circumstances and was private.
