Arthur J. Thome, age 60, of The Minnesota Soldiers Home.

Survived by brother, William; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Cookock, Mrs. Clara Adams & Mrs. Lucy Adams. Nieces & nephews.

Services from the Knaeble Funeral Home, West Broadway at Upton N., Tues., 8:15 a.m. Requiem Mass St. Anne’s Church, 9 a.m. Interment National Cemetery.

Prayer service Mon. 8 p.m. Visitation from 1 p.m. Monday. (Minneapolis Tribune, Mon. Dec. 27, 1965, p. 32, c. 2)

MINNEAPOLIS RITES FOR A. J. THOME, 60

Funeral services for Arthur J. Thome, 60, formerly of Stacyville, now of Minneapolis, were held Tuesday morning, Dec. 27, at St. Anne's Catholic church in Minneapolis.

Mr. Thome died Christmas morning at the Minnesota Soldiers Home where he had been a resident the past 10 years. He had been in failing health the past year. He was a veteran of World War II. Burial was at the National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Arthur J. Thome was born in Stacyville, September 30, 1905, the son of Joseph and Mary Thome of Minneapolis. His survivors include: three sisters, Mrs. Ernest P. Adams of Stacyville, Mrs. Al Adams of Chicago and Mrs. Rose Cooklock of Minneapolis; one brother, William, also of Minneapolis, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl.

Those attending the funeral from Stacyville were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Adams, Louise and Eugene Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Adams.
