Funeral services for Mrs. Caius (Alma) Anderson, 78, a lifetime resident of Lyle, who died at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center February 9, were held February 13 at Our Savior's Lutheran church, Lyle, with the Rev. Harold Luecke officiating.
Alma Odella (Lastine) Anderson, daughter of Knute and Sigre (Flaten) Lastine was born April 17, 1900 in Nevada Township.
She attended Nevada Center District II School and was baptised and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran church.
She was united in marriage to Caius J. Anderson September 8, 1935 in St. Paul, Minn.
She is survived by one son, Paul J. Anderson and daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Hertle) Anderson of Wayzata, Minn. And four grandchildren, Gretchen, Sarah, Lisa and Paul J. Anderson II; two sisters, Adeline Lastine and Mrs. Jay (Selma) Mortenson, both of Lyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Caius, and one brother, Henry Lastine.
Burial was in Six Mile Grove Lutheran cemetery, with Rev. Luecke in charge of committal services.
