Passed Away Saturday Morning After Lingering
Illness-Funeral Held Monday Afternoon at Home

Mrs. Brinsley Ball passed away on Saturday morning, after a long illness. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. L. C. Lemon. Internment was in the Osage cemetery beside her husband, who preceded her about a year ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Ball moved from Illinois to Iowa in 1877, and have lived in Osage since that time-nearly half a century. Both were highly-respected people; good neighbors, and will be kindly remembered by all who knew them.

The surviving children are: Georgia Ball; Mrs. Silas Kelley, Mrs. John Miller, James J. Ball, all of Osage; Mrs. Jud Shellhammer, of Wilsal, Montana; Mrs. A. B. Cutler, of Kalispel, Mont., Mrs Fred Watson, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. H. L. Armstrong, Seattle, Wash.; and Mrs. George Knigge, of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
