Ruth Schultz, age 83, of Osage, Iowa, died Monday, February 5, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Ruth was born May 7, 1923, near David, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Belle (McKinney) Fleenor. She graduated from Osage High School in 1941. Ruth was united in marriage to Joseph Schultz on September 29, 1945 in Chicago, Illinios. In 1948 they moved to Osage. She was employed as a school cook at Lincoln Elementary School in Osage, retiring in the late 1970's. Ruth was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild.

Ruth is survived by husband, Joseph of Osage; 2 daughters, Sandra (Joe) Nanti of Mounds View, MN, Judy (Rick) Edgcumbe of New Brighton, MN; four Grandchildren, Melissa Nanti, David Nanti, Chris Edgcumbe and Andy Edgcumbe, 3 Sisters, Mary Belle Horgen of Osage, Zola Naig of Osage, Betty (Roger) Moore of Elgin, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Roy Fleenor, and 2 sisters, Ruby Weber and Hazel Benson
