ARTHUR WALTER** JAHN

Arthur W. Jahn, age 88, of Nashua, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa, on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, with the Rev. Michael Parris officiating. Burial was in the St. Peter's Cemetery in Riceville.

Survivors include his wife Geneva of Nashua; two sons, Bill (Linda) Jahn, and Randy Jahn; three daughters, Linda (Dennis) Bingham, Judy (Richard) Lenoch and Susan (Richard) Seelhammer; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Arthur Jahn were held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Saturday, January 13, 2007, with Rev. M. Parris officiating.

Burial was in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Riceville with military honors conducted by the American Legion Roy Gue Post 244.

Arthur William** Jahn, age 88, of Nashua, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City, Iowa.

Arthur William Jahn was born on June 29, 1918 in Winner, South Dakota to William and Emma (Behrens) Jahn. Arthur served his country during World War II in the Air Force. After four years in the service, Arthur was united in marriage to Geneva Andersen in Nebraska. They farmed in western Iowa near Sutherland and then moved in 1963 to a farm near McIntire, Iowa. Arthur also worked for 17 years at White Motors in Charles City and took great pride as a final inspector. He enjoyed camping, fishing and woodworking. Arthur was a loving father and husband.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva of Nashua, Iowa; two sons, Bill (Linda) of Acworth, Georgia, and Randy of Dodge Center, Minnesota; three daughters: Linda (Dennis) Bingham of Rochester, Minnesota, Judy (Richard) Lenoch of Oronoco, Minnesota, and Susan (Richard) Seelhammer of Waterloo, Iowa. Also surviving are six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and a sister Helen (Sid) Collomy of Parsonsfield, Maine; a sister-in-law, Velma Jahn of Eudora, Jansas, and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
