Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Fischer, 77, of Carpenter, Iowa, who died October 23 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, Iowa, were held October 26, 1983, at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar with the Rev. E.C. Franke, pastor of Deer Creek Lutheran church, Carpenter, officiating.
Christina Fischer was born October 8, 1906 in Lansing, the daughter of Robert and Bertha (Canfield) Lowe. She worked in Austin, Minnesota as a cook. She and her husband, Frederick moved to Carpenter in 1953, and she made her home there until her death.
Mrs. Fischer was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is surivived by one sister, Mrs. Peter (Ann) Paulson of Costa Mesa, California; also nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Union Presbyterian cemetery, Mitchell county, with Rev. Franke in charge of committal services.
