Cornelia Tusler, Long Resident,
is Dead at Age of 87

Funeral services for Cornelia R. Tusler, 87 were conducted at the Champion funeral home here Saturday, August 12, by the Rev. H. R. Risse.
Burial was made in the Osage Cemetery.

Mrs. Tusler died August 9 in the Community hospital at Stoughton, Wis. She had been ill the past six months. She entered the Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City February 4 and was transferred to the hospital at Stoughton April 13. Her care was being directed by a nephew, Jesse Uter, of Stoughton.

The deceased was born at Stoughton, Wis., May 15, 1863, the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Conner. She was married to Leonard A. Tusler in 1880 and moved to the vicinity of Osage with her husband in 1882. This continued to be her home for the remainder of her life.

Mrs. Tusler was quite active until six months ago. She was a lifelong member of the Congregational church, in which she worked faithfully.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1941 and a son, Lloyd, who died in early manhood, as well as two brothers and four sisters. Four nephews and three nieces survive.
