Remarkable Wedding Anniversary Celebrated at Osage.
At Osage on Jan. 4, Mr. and Mrs. H. N. P. Hill celebrated their sixty-fifth wedding anniversary. And around this event clusters a record of longevity and freedom from death seldom equalled. Mr. Hill is in his eighty-seventh year and his wife is in her eighty-fourth. Not a single member of the family has died during this time. It is doubtful if this record can be duplicated anywhere in Iowa. Brad Hill, the oldest son, has the honor of being the first male student to enroll in the Cedar Valley seminary. Mr. and Mrs. Hill settled in Osage in 1856, coming direct from Boston. For fifty-two years they have lived on the same residence lot in Osage. They are both well preserved and are enjoying remarkably good health.
