SOME BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES REGARDING LOREN AND EMMA (DROWN) THOMAS

Loren C. Thomas and Emma H. Drown. Family records say they were married on 6 Feb 1879, but another source says they were married on 4 Feb. 1879 -- but that may have been the marriage license application date.

Emma Hortense Drown married Loren Chauncy Thomas in Iowa, and then they moved to South Dakota.
After her death, he moved to Minnesota where he was from. Emma died in 1919 and Loren in 1932.

Emma was his second wife; his first wife died in Minnesota, and then he married Emma. I don't know what brought him to Iowa but they didn't stay.
