ST. ANSGAR - Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dalluge moved this week from the George Diederich residence to their new home which has just been built next to the parental Hirrell Dalluge home on West Main Street. It is a two bedroom house all on one floor.

St. Ansgar Man on Police Force at Austin, Minn.

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA -— Carl Dalluge son of Mr. and Mrs. Hirrell Dalluge, St. Ansgar, is now a member
of the Austin, Minn, police force. He started his new duties as patrolman last week
Carl competed successfully in mental and physical tests to make the grade for the patrol
man post. Mr. and Mrs. Dalluge and three children live in Austin.

Carl was born in St. Ansgar and attended high school here After graduation he assisted his
father in the family grocery store. He then served three years in the Air Force, after
which he attended college at J C. in Austin. He took two year; of pre-law, and was graduated hi June.

Carl worked for a year and a half at the Piggly Wiggly store in Austin before his appointment
to the police department.
