Washington Hubbell
Funeral WednesdayGLENWOOD, Ia. – The funeral of Washington Hubbell, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Orpha Lloyd, Sunday, will be held Wednesday in the Walnut Grove rural church, and interment will be in Waubonste Cemetery.
Mr. Hubbell, a pioneer and minister, who resided south of Glenwood for many years, is survived by five children: Mrs. Lloyd Namon Hubbell of Glenwood, Albert of Bartlett, Ralph of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Ethel Irwin of Cedar Falls, Ia. Another son, Edgar, passed away at Fremont, Neb., one year ago. Verris Hubbell, deputy county clerk, is a grandson.
