MILLS COUNTY TRIBUNE
DATED APRIL 30, 1903:

Wm. Franklin Otis, a brother of Geo. Otis of this city and a well known and respected resident of Glenwood from 1857 to 1889, died April 22d at Clay Center, Neb., and was buried the following day at Geneva, where his son resides. He was born in Washington county, Ohio, in 1834. He leaves a wife and one son, Grant Otis. Geo. Otis was present at the funeral.

On July 23, 1863 he was married to Mary Jane Grayham (b. 1844 d.1911)

They had one son, Grant Otis, born in 1863.
