October 17, 1940Mrs. Joseph Mayberry passed away at the home of her son, Joe Mayberry, three and one-half miles southeast of Silver City at 6:20 a.m., Wednesday at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Quick of Tekamah, Neb., Mrs. Lew Tranmer and Mrs. Franke Badje of Decatur, Neb., and two sons, Guy Mayberry of Tekamah, Neb., and Joe Mayberry of Malvern.
The body was taken to the Raynor Funeral Home and funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at Lyons, Neb., Friday, Oct. 18, a 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Troy in charge. Interment will be in the Lyons cemetery.
