Mrs. Emily Burton, 83, of Emerson Passes

Mrs. Emily Burton, 83, oldest resident of Emerson, passed away there Thursday. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon.

She was born in England but long had been a resident of Emerson. Her husband, John Burton, preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Alice Lutes, Mrs. Grace Henry, both of Plattsmouth, Neb., Mrs. Blanche Whitford of Shenandoah and Miss Nellie Burton, at home and a brother living in England.
