Carl Gaer Died Suddenly Sunday

Carl Gaer, former well known Glenwood resident and gardener at the state institution for many years died suddenly Sunday from a heart attack at his home at Woodward, Iowa. Immediate survivors are his wife and one son, William Gaer, of the U.S. army recruiting office in Omaha.

The body was brought to Glenwood and services will be held at the Myers-James funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with burial in the Glenwood cemetery.
