Ralph B. Townsend Dies at Red Oak

Ralph B. Townsend, 50, who for many years was associated here with his uncle, the late Jas. A. Swope, in the furniture and undertaking business, died Tuesday at Red Oak, where he has made his home for a number of years being engaged in the furniture business there.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, who resides in Red Oak, and two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Wilson of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Shirlimae Defnis of San Berdino, Calif., as well as his aged mother, who now resides in Omaha, and who was in attendance at the funeral services which were held in the Perryman funeral chapel in Red Oak this Thursday morning, with burial being made in the Glenwood cemetery.
