January 1, 1942Body of Mamie Phipps Brought Here for Burial
Miss Mamie Phipps, 56, member of an early day pioneer Mills county family, passed away at her home in Nebraska City on last Thursday. The body was brought overland to the Glenwood cemetery Saturday afternoon following the services in Nebraska City at one o’clock, for burial in the family lot beside her parents, Isaac and Mary Phipps.
Miss Phipps is survived by one brother, Paul and a half-brother, W.H. Pitzer, both of Nebraska City. Miss Phipps was a relative of Miss Ethel Phipps of the Glenwood State school, and also of Ernest Walker.
