June 19, 1941Otto Schoening Dies in Bluffs Hospital
Otto Peter Schoening, 57, died at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon in the Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Funeral Home and 2:00 in the Mineola Church, with Rev. O.C. Biermann officiating. The body is under care of the Myers-James funeral home.
Seven brothers and two sisters survive him: Harvey of Mineola; Gus of Prescott; Charles, Paul, Herman and Guy of Silver City; Ralph of Council Bluffs; Mrs. Arthur Stark of Emerson, Nebraska; and Miss Adella Schoening of Silver City.
