Tabor Man Killed And Son Seriously Hurt In Car Crash

Raymond Clark of Tabor Killed When Car Collided Head On With Pickup Driven By Roy Seegar

Raymond Clark, 50, was killed and five other persons including his son, Clemons, 17, were injured in a truck-auto crash on a hill three miles northwest of Tabor Saturday morning.

Mr. Clark and his son were on their way to a school house north of where the accident occurred to do some painting. Mr. Clark was instantly killed and the son received a broken arm, a broken leg near the hip and severe head and internal injuries. He was removed to the Hamburg hospital where his condition is considered serious.

In the pickup were Roy Seegar, who was driving, Roger Krieds, Everett Lybarger and Granville Williams. All suffered cuts and bruises. They were attended at the doctor's office in Tabor and Malvern and later taken to their homes.

Young Clark was removed to Hamburg hospital in the Reeve ambulance and the body of his father was removed to the Reeve funeral home in the James ambulance.

Funeral services for Mr. Clark will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Reeve's funeral home with burial in the Tabor cemetery. Mr. Clark was the brother of Harry Ferrell of this city.
