Services Held Saturday for Minnie Hanfeld

Private funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the James Funeral Home for Miss Minnie Hanfeld, 58, who passed away Thursday, July 23, in the hospital at Woodward. The service was conducted by Dr. Frederick W. Long of the Glenwood Congregational Church and the body was laid to rest in the Glenwood cemetery.

Minnie Hanfeld was born at Clarence, Iowa, on November 24, 1884. She was stricken with brain fever at the age of three and was an invalid until death released her of her sufferings. She was ever kindly and considerate of others with whom she was associated.

She leaves three brothers, William, George and Lee of Davenport, and two sisters, Mrs. H.I. Newton of Wellfleet, Nebr., and Mrs. Wm. Echternach of Glenwood and nieces and nephews.
