Henry Hill, farmer near Malvern, and D. L. Spoon of Hastings, died from asphyxiation in a Council Bluffs hospital, after being found in a hotel room with the gas jet open.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows a Doris L. Spoon who was born March 1, 1891 and died Sept. 28, 1916. She is buried in the Malvern Cemetery.
