GREENLEE, EICHELBERGER

P.G. Greenlee of Glenwood died at his home April 5, 1905 of bronchitis and dropsical trouble. Mr. Greenlee was born near Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 22, 1829. He left his native state in 1862 and went to Pennsylvania, coming to Iowa in 1871, and to Mills county in 1902. In his early life he was an active member of the Odd Fellows and Masonic lodges. Seven children were born to him, four of whom are still living and were at his bedside when the final summons came. His children are T.C. Greenlee, Council Bluffs; Mary E. and R.W. Greenlee, Glenwood; J.H. Greenlee, Cleveland, Okla.; his life companion and mother of their seven children, Mrs. Caroline Greenlee, who is 79 years of age, also survives him.

The funeral was held from the home Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Mrs. Eichelberger.
